Tonglen Resort has been serving tourists on Boracay for 20 years and was one of the first of the larger resorts. As a family run resort with hand picked staff, we are always focussed on our guests satisfaction, and we have many guests who return year after year. We have the perfect ‘green and peaceful’ retreat and only minutes from everything on Boracay Island. We are located at boat station 3. Our lawns and gardens make our resort unique on Boracay with space and quiet, which is especially good for families, groups or parties. Our lawns mean you don’t have limited space, which is common on Boracay forcing you out to the beachfront. We intend to keep our paradise the way we built it, as it is favored by many.
Tonglen has 24 rooms 12 standard and 12 deluxe. Each room is complete with a Flat screen TV, desk, air conditioning, en suite shower and CR. Tonglen has a Pool with sunbeds and shaded tables, which goes onto a BBQ area which guests are free to use. By the pool is a phone for pool service where you can order drinks or food served for your pleasure.
Every room has a large secluded balcony, overlooking the gardens and the main walkway to retire to at the end of the day. Room service will serve you food and drinks, as you relax in the comfort of your Balcony or room.
Because Tonglen Resort is run by an English and Filipino couple, you can expect the finest of both worlds in terms of service and accommodations. The resort was designed to be enjoyed all year round, whether you come on business or pleasure, or coming with family or your loved one.

Pool and Gardens
Our Pool area is fully serviced and you can occupy the sunbeds or the shaded seating areas. The pool itself has steps into the 3ft shallow end and that goes to 5ft in the deep end. Regularly treated and cleaned the pool is always fresh and clean. Surrounded by gardens and the lawn it is a great alternative to the beach.
The gardens surround all the rooms and main walkway all the way from the main road entrance to the reception and the restaurant. The lawns are also for customer use. Games are available for the lawn areas such as badminton, football with nets (goals). Volley ball or tennis nets.
On some occasions we hold an open air cinema on the main lawn, which is a great way to watch a film under the stars with drinks and food.

1. Room reservation that lapsed the option date of payment shall be deemed cancelled. 2. A hundred percent (100%) cancellation charge of the total account shall be applied to NO SHOW guest, and/or without issuance of a proper cancellation voucher. 3. Fifty percent (50%) cancellation charge on cancelled booking with 5 days before arrival shall be applied during high season and thirty percent (30%) during lean season.
