Tribal Adventures White Water Action
Kayaking down the rivers of Panay, a mere hour and a half away from Boracay, you can 
really let your hair down and prepare to get wet!
Raging rapids or subtle trickles, whatever your ability Tribal Adventures will send you down the river with their experienced guides for the time of your life!
Hiking through rainforests and river eco- systems to get to the jump off point for the morning kayak, enjoy lunch at Kayak Inn and continue kayaking down the river, through mountain scenery and tropical jungles .... a truly rewarding experience!
You will be paddling and riding the white water class 2 to 3 rapids of the Tibiao River, the only Philippine river to have hosted an international kayaking competition.
You will also learn the art of preparing and feasting native-style before drinking the local brew "tuba" -- or beer or rum -- as you trade exhilaration for tranquility in a hot "kawa" tub back at Kayak Inn on the Tibiao River only 1-1/2 hours by boat and road from Boracay
Life vest and helmets are supplied. Two kayak guides are in each group and each kayaker has a personal porter/safety spotter who will follow you down the river.
The kayaks are sit on kayaks and, should you fall out, your safety guides are there to retrieve you. The rapids are a class 2&3 and you can stop at any time, if you feel you have reached your comfort level, and your safety guide will walk you and your gear back to the base camp.
6 am. meet at SandCastles Apartments for coffee. Light breakfast, leave at 6:30am
7am ferry to Caticlan (guest can meet us at the ferry 7 am sharp)
7.30-8.15am drive to Culasi for tour of a true Pinoy wet-market
9.30-10.30am arrive Kayak Inn base camp in Tuno, continental breakfast and coffee while you have a cooking class in Gourmet Jungle Dishes
10.30am kayak training, safety procedures and white water river trip a trek to the river villages of 3 KM to start the morning Kayak.
12.30 lunch buffet Tribal Style at our day log Kayak Inn a truly amazing dining experience
1.30pm Leave Kayak Inn for the afternoon white water ride down stage 2 of the Tibiao River
3pm soak in KAWA'S, award-winning Jungle Hot Tubs, an invention of Greg Hutchinson who built Kayak Inn, river swimming and enjoying ice cold beverages
4.30pm leave for return trip to Caticlan
6.30pm ferry back to Boracay and return to Tribal Cafe for to watch the day’s video
Participant Guidelines
Inclusive of:
- boat and land transport,
- brief training session,
- kayak, paddle, helmet, life jacket,
- porters,
- safety guides,
- food and beverages, including tuba when available, beer, rum, drinking water, we eat three times as we love food!
What To Bring:
- Sunscreen,
- hat,
- bug repellent,
- water thermos(beverages are included but we dislike disposable water bottles)
- walking shoes that will get wet or strong sandals,
- swim wear,
- waterproof layer,
- dry clothes for the ride home,
- tip money if you choose. (you can purchase water/trekking foot wear, water bottles and day packs from our office in Boracay)

Travellers taking this tour must be prepared to meet at Tribal Adventures, next to Sandcastles Apartments at Station 1, White Beach, at 4:30-5:30pm the night before a trip, for a briefing.
Please book at least 24-48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
