Shopping in Boracay
There are many vendors roaming the beach, selling all kinds of fashion accessories made from stones, shells, beads and other local materials. These vendors generally set up small tables by the shore from early morning till late at night, displaying their items to tempt the casual beach-goers. They usually set up their shops from 8 am to 10 pm. Haggling is quite common, though some shops strictly maintain fixed prices. One tip is to keep looking around in a number of shops to get an idea of a fair price, since the prices can vary from shop to shop. Once you get used to it, this kind of bargain shopping is a joyful diversion and can be quite exciting!
The beach path and D'Mall are two places lined with shops selling all kinds of native jewellery and exotic crafts and even modern beachwear.

Nautilus
A very lovely blend of a native designer shop with modern adaptations of very rustic island crafts, including home furnishings, clothes and jewelry. Plazoleta: Arts and Crafts
The Plazoleta contains numerous little shops selling various kinds of native arts and crafts. It's conveniently located on White Beach, and definitely the best place for all your souvenir shopping. Native instruments like bongo drums of all sizes, pan pipes and flutes, and rain-sticks are on sale, and sometimes there are even musicians around to treat you to a live musical demonstration. Apart from these, native jewellery, hand made leather bags, bamboo light shades with coloured glass, wind chimes and many other craft items are available for you to savour.
A place where you can buy beautiful, unique, handmade leather bags is a little shop in Plazoleta. It is run by a local artist and musician called Diango, who is seen bent working on his bags, adorning them with puka shells, bells and beads made by North Philippines tribes. Each bag in unique, and they make for great presents! Apart from bags, you will also find lamps, drums, sarongs, clothing and various other arts and crafts.

Paulo Collection
This chain has a number of shops around Boracay, but the one located at D'Mall offers a wide collection of beachwear like swimsuits, sarongs, surf shorts, and bikinis. They even have repairs and replacements for beachwear. Prices start at $15-20 for a bikini, so you can be sure of great bargains here!
D'Mall
Heidiland
The name comes from a quaint Swiss town close to the Alps. This Swiss-owned Deli offers various European specialities like cheese, Angus beef and cold cuts, much like the famous Santi's at Manila. This shop is probably not for everyone, but it's a favourite among foreigners who start missing their salami and cheese after a few days in tropical Boracay. They also sell fresh vegetables that can be used for quick sandwiches and salads, as well as wine that perfectly complements these items. They accept cash and credit cards, but don't sell the imported cheese in quantities less than 100 grams. The staff members know quite a bit about the items they sell and are helpful too.
D'Mall
